Blades Head to Niagara Falls for the 2025 OJHL Governors’ Showcase

The Oakville Blades are set to represent the organization at one of the Ontario Junior Hockey League’s premier events—the 2025 OJHL Governors’ Showcase—taking place this week in Niagara Falls. Hosted at the Gale Centre, the Showcase is a marquee stop on the league calendar, drawing scouts from across the OHL, NCAA, U SPORTS, and even NHL organizations.

Blades’ Showcase Schedule

The Blades will see action twice during the Showcase:

  • Tuesday, September 16 at 4:00 PM – Oakville faces off against the Lindsay Muskies.
  • Wednesday, September 17, at 7:00 PM The Blades take on the Aurora Tigers under the lights.

Both matchups will give Oakville a chance to test themselves against tough competition while showcasing the talent and depth of their roster to an audience filled with scouts and hockey executives.
